The long anticipated full-length release from Minneapolis Queer shock cabaret stars FAGGOT. This is a rabid grizzly bear of an album, spewing rancid filth and dangerously lo-fi wretchedness on the initiated and unsuspecting alike. The musical(?) component of FAGGOT is comprised of Jason Wade (ex-RESIN) on "gutar" Saira (ex-DETESTATION) on bass, Jon on drums and Tim on vocals, grunts, and other perversions. The music is a combination of grungy 60's garage rock, three-chord RAMONES style punk, and anything else the band feels like at the moment. The live experience is wildly unpredictable once you eliminate the regular features like dildos, male and female go-go dancers, fake blood, sodomy and the like. While it's impossible to capture the full FAGGOT experience on a record, the band do a pretty good job with a full-color photo collage and some incredible art by Steven Leyba (of the United Satanic Apache Front) and Michael Gaughan. This record was two years in the making and was supposed to be released by Profane Existence. After distribution troubles in 2008 crippled the label, its release was taken over by Voetsek vocalist Ami Lawless' Selfish Satan Records. We have some full-color 2009 tour posters we will be including with all orders for this album while supplies last.
WARNING: This album is not for the squeamish!
