GERMAN OLD SCHOOL DEATH METAL. „Fake Salvation“ was composed by Johan de Jager during the COVID pandemic. The majority of instruments were handled by Johan de Jager, with Nikolay Atanasov (ex-Agent Steel/Prophecy) contributing solos on two tracks. Vocal duties were performed by Justus Meineke, who is completely new to the scene. „Fake Salvation“ is a nod to the old school death metal pioneers like Cancer, Massacre, Death and Bolt Thrower. The song topics range from atrocities of war and the dark side of the human mind to straight out gore and horror. If you like your death metal raw and with a warm and crushing sound, then OVERLORD might just be your thing.
