SPEEDICA - Shadows of Tomorrow CD

Speedica emerged as a thrash speed metal band out of the ruins and ashes of heavy metal band "Anger" in 1986. There fast and melodic metal gave em their nickname ‘The Dutch Flotsam and Jetsam’. This compilation contains the "Shadows of Tomorrow" (1989) and "Voyage into the Fifth Dimension" (1990) demos, along with three live tracks. Speedica featured a pretty young guitarist Marcel Coenen, who later on formed Sun Caged (and now has his own Marcel Coenen progressive metal band, and Channel Zero live & Ayreon session guitars). Massive booklet Liner notes by Steven Willems (Rock Tribune and Voices From The Darkside).and old and rare pictures and posters. All the tracks on ‘Shadows of Tomorrow’ are remastered. The band recently reformed!
