Temple of Worms was founded in 2014 in Lyon (FR) with Xahaal (Malepeste), Dimhold (ex Osirion), Crowdead and Enno. The main goal was to play old school death metal, but with the intent of keeping a few black metal influences, especially in the aura and sound. Quickly joined by Jay, and after a few lineup changes, the band rapidely took a more deathgrind approach, with Repulsion / Autopsy / Carbonized / Cadaver influences, but still keeping a dark artistic direction. After releasing a mini CD, and many gigs with our fellow respected death metal comrades (Affliction gate, Mercyless, Necrowretch, Master), Temple of Worms is about to release its first album in 2022.
