Debut full length of this death/grind band from France!
TRUIE is a duo composed of Éric Dorléans (guitars/production) and Kaan Turkdamar (bass / vocals) that offers a refined blend of death/grind with a touch of black metal, muddied by deep guttural vocals delivering French lyrics. The mix is sprinkled with humorous, explicit, and lewd samples from adult films. For our two seducers, these samples provide the perfect accompaniment to the serenades they compose. These compositions are further elevated by the development of diverse and varied atmospheres, with no limits set: sometimes orchestral, sometimes electronic, and always in service of musicality and Love.
Originally, the project sprang from Éric's twisted mind in the 2000s. Even then, he enjoyed playing with his instrument and crafting technically brutal pieces, inviting friends to lend their voices. The tracks were shared on Myspace, where the TRUIE project modestly began to gain recognition: the TRUIE concept was born.
The music from that era would later be remastered and compiled in an album aptly titled "Bukkake," released in 2017.
Among these guest singers was the young and still innocent Kaan, with whom the creative orgasm was particularly intense. So intense that he took the initiative to revive TRUIE about a decade later.
The concept came back to life, this time in a more serious and exclusive form, yet still as lewd and brutal. The two comrades take great pleasure in exploiting the creative alchemy that binds them, evident throughout the EP "Gokkun" released in 2019, followed by the single "Tequila et Filles de Joie" in 2020.
In April 2023, the release of "Ménophilie" undoubtedly marks the true first step of a long, vicious, and creative collaboration for TRUIE, one that is poised to flourish.
